The Jury selected three projects as winners and awarded their authors with valuable prizes and employment contracts with TGT:

"Roentgen Computer Tomography as a Basis for Interpreting Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Data in Whole Core Studies" by
Artur Fattakhov;

"Automatic Detection of Structural Editing of a Digital Image" by
Ilya Korchagin;

"A Software and Hardware System for Human Motion Capture Based on Inertial Sensors" by
Renat Khakimullin.

Notably, Renat Khakimullin is a second-time winner and delivered his presentation at this year's conference as a staff member of TGT Oilfield Services.

Feedback from conference participants indicated that this eighth conference offered great opportunities for young brains to present their ideas before the Jury and other participants. As one of them said, "Interesting presentations and solutions were plentiful. This year, we had discussions in which both participants and Jury members generated new ideas. And special thanks for the interesting tour of TGT's building! We look forward to the next SMIT conference in 2017."

See you soon in Kazan!
